Dr Layth Al- Shear

Layth has been working closely with Dr Abhi since 2017 providing comprehensive dental care to our patients.

Born and raised in Amman-Jordan, Layth Finished a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery in 2010. After obtaining general dental experience there, he moved to Australia in 2012 to further advance his knowledge and experience in Dentistry; Oral Health Education and Dental Hygiene in particular.

He Attended Dental School in Adelaide-South Australia and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Oral Health. Layth moved to Sydney after and started working as a Dental Hygienist in NSW. He also completed a Training and Assessment Certificate to pursue teaching in the Dental field at TAFE – Sydney institute. Layth fell in love with Australia and decided to continue living and working here. He settled in Wollongong where he met his partner. Currently, Layth is working on expanding his scope and knowledge dealing with Preventative Dentistry and Gum Disease with further dental education.

Outside dentistry, Layth enjoys cycling, hiking and travelling.
